Hi

On all the videos i have watched, they say to push the blade into the pocket as far as it will go.

When i push my spearmaster composite blade into my pathos pocket, if i push it all the way in, it goes way past the bend of the blade. Should i only push it so the bend of the blade lines up with the bend of the pocket?

Thanks

You are right. Push it only to the point where the bend in the blade matches the bend in the foo0tpocket.

It sounds to me as if you blade and foot pocket doesn't match.

With Pathos you glue the pocket in place so couple of mm here or there shouldn't be a disaster but ideally the blade should fit snug in the foot pocket. The foot pocket is reinforced on the edges where the blade seats and if you blade is not seated properly you will find that after extended use the blade prints through the softer sections deforming it and may even tear the pocket.

That doesn't sound good. Have have seen others with this combo of fin and pocket. Guess I will just hope for the best. Nothing I can do now as the glue is drying
