Interesting ress release Yulex: Press / Details

The Yulex corporation is providing sheets of foam rubber made from guayule rather than neoprene to the Ptagonia wetsuit company.

The Guayule plant gives a sap that can be used to make a rubber that is different from latex, neoprene, silicone rubber, and maybe people with neoprene allergies could be helped by this.

The same also applies to people with latex allergies, who can't, for example, wear suits with latex wrist or face seals.
