I have been using Gara's for a while now, and I am now looking to upgrade, I tried a pair of c4 mustangs recently and really like the fin. I am looking to buy a pair now, and would like a little input as to what pair, I can get a pair of c4 Flap VGR's at a deal, or should one go with the newer c4 Super Falcon? I like the foot pockets, as it allows some adjustment in size, giving me warm to cold water sock options. These will be used both for spearfishing and freediving. Thanks for the help.

Help in Choosing c4 fins

If you can get Flap VGR on a good deal, you can't go wrong with them.
As for Mustangs, I've come across many Mustang enthusiasts and as many Mustang crythics, kind of love it or hate it.
For spearfishing, some say that Mustangs, in some hunting situations such as sudden turns, are a tad less manouverable than traditional bifins like C4 Flaps. Maybe it just takes practice, like with any other piece of gear, but the Flaps VGR are more likely to be more natural, no-nonsense, relatively easy fins.
Just take care to get the Flaps VGR, not the older Flaps non-VGR. The VGR series are really more durable as a product, due to higher quality of Carbon fiber compared to the older model.
Re Superfalcons: these are a discontinued model, now replaced by Fuego VGR.
