ok i dont know whetehr my lungs are expanding durign breath hold or if it is just mental but heres teh picture.
a few days ago my max breath hold was 2 minute 20 now by the time i get to 1 minute 20/30 i breath out, not due to contractions but because i physically cant hold it in, why is this? whats changed? i get tight in the chest and i have to put alot of effort in to stop air escaping my mouth but eventually it all comes out, i never had this problem before. it makes relaxation almost impossible

i think that could be the problem there, you should try to go for about a 4 - 5 min breathhold without packing, before playing around with it. packing can be dangerous, and you will find that as you go along, your body will adapt to breathholds, it might not be as fast as it is for some people (it took me a month or more to get to the 2 minute stage) but it will happen.

It's definitely worth trying without packing. I don't pack for dry statics any more. I used to, but now I can do the same times without packing. Maybe I'll go back to it later, but for now, I find it easier not to. Heavy packing can also be dangerous.
