Hey DB,
I looking to find a freediving wetsuit under about $250. Im gonna need atleast 5mm because i dive in some cold waters in california. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

First off thanks both for the speedy reply! I like the idea of custumizing a wetsuit at that suitable of a price so thank you! and along the lines of the jbl im not quite sure i would want a camoflauge wetsuit just yet. id rather get an all purpose one

I would agree with Mike, I don't think you can beat the custom diveskin suits for value & fast service.

Those wetsuits look really good! Too bad about that shipping cost haha I wish I could find something like that in my area!

I bought a 5mm suit from Imersion. With shipping, it was $265. If it fits you well, I think it's a good buy.

I recently bought a new Cressi Tecnica for $200. I dont know thei price in the US, but almost worlwide they are for sale =]
And yeah, it is a pretty comfy suit. Sits well, outer surface is pretty hard, I m doing reef diving, was stuck in holes for many many many times and the suit doesnt show any signs of wear. But the color fades... Or I imagined it to do so =]

Dddou, since your diving northern California , i'd say
you wetsuit is the most important peice of gear ..$260 is probly as low as your going to find ...

Most of us pay 400-500 and if were diving hard we only get 1.5 - 2 years of use :(

Good luck on your suit ,,,Joe

This is 139 Euro's for a full package with freediving wetsuit (Technisub Walea 5mil 2 pieces double coated) + gloves + socks + longfins. Probably the best deal in the world at the moment. Just check the shipping from Italy to US. Start-up Kit : Tutto Pesca Mare
