Hi All..

I have a Beuchat carbon mundial gun and an Omer 50 reel.. i need some ideas on how to install it.. as its for an omer gun and wont fir my gun.

Is using zip ties a good idea?

If i make some kind of bracket.. will it be a good idea to drill holes in the barrel to screw it in?

All input is greatly appreciated.. thanx in advance!

Hiya

Quite simple. Remove the BLACK part on the top of the reel. That is the fitting it uses to simply slide on to the Omer grip. Once its removed, you'll see two holes in the footplate of the reel. Simply drill two holes in your barrel and use short stainless steel screws and screw it in. Drill your holes as close to the grip as possible, because you don't want to put holes in the barrel in front of the barrel plug!!

I have a Omer 50 reel mounted on my 100cm Rabitech in that manner.

Whats the barrel plug? And do u mean to drill as close as possible towards the plastc?

Will this be strong enough held with 2 screws on the barrel?

Barrel plug is hidden inside barrel and makes it watertight. Miles is saying to drill on the underside of barrel as close to butt as possible as barrel plug is usually found a bit further along on the inside of the barrel.

Speero,

Also remember that you will not have anymore the pin to make the loops in the handle, it will be covered by the reel. That is a mistake in the beuchat mundial even with his owm reel is a problem.

When i had the Mundial reel i used the clips on the side of the gun.. worked well except the mundial reel was a peice of krap.

Im gonna figure out a way to mount this... maybe have a machine shope machine somthing out from billet aluminum that will slide right in the original slot.

Thanx Fellaz
