Hi spearos,
Have been spearfishing with my Rabi Apex for a while but there is one thing bothering me a lot.

After six months of use, I found my trigger become rusty!! I am worried that one day the gun will accidentally discharge!
Does anyone have same problem!! What should I do to fix it?

Well as far as I see it you have two options depending on where you life that is...
1- Take it back to Louis and let him fix it for you by putting in a new trigger or something to that extent, this option only works if you life in Cape Town area though :)
2- Just clear it off the trigger and mechanism is stainless steel so the rust should be superficial and not set in very deep, after youve cleaned off the rust just spray it with a oil coating and then after every dive rinse well and oil with anti rust coating like Q20 or something to the like.
BTW I also have a apex with a bit of rust by the trigger but Im not too bothered about it, like I said the rust is just superficial and not set into the steel.

hi deep thinker,
Thanks a lot. I feel much comfortable now.
I am living in Asia and option 2 will be good for me.
