Herbert Nitsch has announced that he will be attempting to break the current World Records in at least the Variable Ballast and Free Immersion disciplines during July of this year.

The record attempts are going to take place in Sougia Crete during the Mediterranean Freediving Meeting.

Thanks for sharing Stavros.
Do you know how deep the variable?

Re: Herbert Nitsch announces Variable Ballast and Free Immersion World Record attempt

Will Herbert go feet first in Free Immersion too, just like he has done before?

What are Herbert's limit's? He seems to keep redefinening human abilities without any slowdown!

Re: Herbert Nitsch announces Variable Ballast and Free Immersion World Record attempt

Hi All,

all attempts are scheduled to be at WR+1m... unless Herbert decides otherwise which will most likely happen a lot closer to the event.

Will Herbert go feet first? Who knows... probably even Herbert doesn't... being himself he will most likely decide after he finishes his warm up prior to the dive :D
