Last night I was driving back home when my best friend called me on my cell phone. "Where are you? - he said - Turn on your tv now! John Lydon is on Discovery Channell diving with great white sharks!". Pity I was driving on the road, and I lost this precious pearl of great television.
John Lydon ("Johnny Rotten") is the ex singer of the Sex Pistols, a legend of my youth. I can't imagine him in wetsuit and fins campaigning for sharks preservation. But it's true:

I'm a big fan too.

I got to see them play during their "reunion" tour a couple of years ago- without Sid of course. Halfway through the show some guy from the audience got up on stage and started dancing. He rammed right into Johnny and he took a header right off the stage. My buddy shouted "We just saw Johnny Rotten die"- but he got back up, wiped off the blood, and started singing again.:blackeye

I've also seen PIL a few times when they've come through these parts. As a matter of fact, I keep some PIL on my MP3 player for those longer swim workouts- helps to kick things into higher gear when you start getting tired.

I bet swimming with greatwhites is less stressful than the sharks in the music buisness. rofl

That night of the concert, when he took the header off the stage, he was down for a few minutes with EMT's all around him but surprised us all when he got back up and finished the show- blood and all. :crutch
