Last night I was driving back home when my best friend called me on my cell phone. "Where are you? - he said - Turn on your tv now! John Lydon is on Discovery Channell diving with great white sharks!". Pity I was driving on the road, and I lost this precious pearl of great television.
John Lydon ("Johnny Rotten") is the ex singer of the Sex Pistols, a legend of my youth. I can't imagine him in wetsuit and fins campaigning for sharks preservation. But it's true:

BTW: any Sex Pistols' fans on DB forums?

I'm a big fan too.

I got to see them play during their "reunion" tour a couple of years ago- without Sid of course. ;) Halfway through the show some guy from the audience got up on stage and started dancing. He rammed right into Johnny and he took a header right off the stage. My buddy shouted "We just saw Johnny Rotten die"- but he got back up, wiped off the blood, and started singing again.:blackeye

I've also seen PIL a few times when they've come through these parts. As a matter of fact, I keep some PIL on my MP3 player for those longer swim workouts- helps to kick things into higher gear when you start getting tired.

I bet swimming with greatwhites is less stressful than the sharks in the music buisness. rofl

I just sent him the story clip.

That night of the concert, when he took the header off the stage, he was down for a few minutes with EMT's all around him but surprised us all when he got back up and finished the show- blood and all. :crutch
