I'm going to be staying in Hermanus this weekend aparently right on the sea. I'm not at all familiar with this area. Does'nt look like the weather is gonna play along,:waterwork but it's always worth bringing my gear along just in case or at least a fishing rod. My Uncle (who's place it is) says that there is a great fishing spot right in front of his time share, where supposedly okes catch loads of fish (with rods) there.

Just out of interest sake, Does anyone know of any little shore dives around there that I can try? If anyone is in the area, please give me a shout. Cos I'm getting my new gun on Friday and I know I gonna be itching to shoot some fish

Well,Thanks so much for the replies! (sarcasim)

The weather was pretty lousy anyways. But I did notice that Hermanus is a potentially awsome spot for spearfishing. I don't know how much fish there are. but on a good day there are some beautiful looking deep spots, easily accessable, rock pinacles and reefs. I don't know the area. Is it all fished out or has anyone tried it?
