"Herring Run"will be organized Oct.3-5, 2007 in the Halifax area where the world largest Atlantic giant bluefin tuna ( 500/900 lbs- 8/10 feet long ) come from the Gulf of Mexico for herring.
Using specific techniques, we give the chance to free-dive in the middle of schools of tuna in open water and / or close to the trawlers. At the location, the depth is 100 to 170 feet, water temp. is 58 to 65 degrees F. and the visi. 17 to 33 feet.
Trolling and taking part to the captures is possible from the boat.
Adrenaline++ is garanteed during these exceptional encounters with tuna, and also with seals and whales.. an unforgettable meeting!
