Hey Dude, Where's My Journal?

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.

As some of you may have noticed the Journal function here on the forums has been completely removed.

It hadn't been working for some time (due to the journal product no longer being supported by it's author) so I took it offline.

In the meantime the makers of the forum software that the DeeperBlue.net Forums run on have announced that they will be releasing a fully featured Blog product in the coming weeks. Once that product is released I will be integrating it directly into the forums and launching it to all forum members.

Please bear with me as I am currently waiting on the blog product to be launched before I can integrate it in.

Any news on this?

In the meantime, perhaps we could have a forum called 'Member Journals', where everyone gets their own thread for journaling purposes.

The Blog product has just been released by the developers today. We have just purchased the product and will be integrating it into the forums in the next couple of days.

Get ready to start Blogging away shortly!

Will our original stuff go back up? thanks for this Stephan :)
Unlikely as the original journal product was completely unsupported by the vendor (it was developed by a third party) and looking at the backend it looks like the data has been trashed and is unrecoverable.
