Im new to the spearing world, but I've been diving for ten years, all over the south pacific from the GBR, Solomons, Philippines, Palau, La Paz Mexico, Yap, and the Chuuk Republic, to name the highlighted trips. Anyways, I just got set up with a pole spear, and I am currently looking for a dive buddy who lives in Southern California.

Good Hunting!

Have a good one!

Southern California is a big place. Which city?

Your best bet to find dive buddies and learn where and how to spearfish is a club. Four that come to mind in So Cal are the Long Beach Neptunes, the Los Angeles Fathomiers, the Orange County Spearos, and the San Diego Freedivers. They all meet monthly and welcome non members at their meetings.
