Never really introduced myself. Lots of great info on this forum for sure. I'm from Catalina Island, Southern California. If anyone is interested, I just started a Facebook page for guns I'll be making, using, and maybe selling. But more importantly, I made it to gauge the impact it will have in the community around me, and maybe around the world, with the guns I make. It's brand new, so not much there right now. Hello, how is the kayak diving over there ? Do you know wear to stay while over there ? The best rates etc. Really a beautiful place, will be going back soon...
 
Hi. Kayak diving is great. There are good spots around the whole island, as long as your willing to work to get to them. Best rates in Avalon I'm not so sure about. I live in a camp on the island. A little different than what most people would picture. Sorry that I can't be much of a help on that one.
 
That 6 band gun looks sick. What is the effective range for a headshot on likesay a 40lb fish?
 
Hey ninja,
As far as I can tell my 6 band gun has been spot on between 25 and 30 foot shots. I finished it at the end of the season, so I've only been able to shoot it twice, at live targets. Hoping to get a better feel for it this year.
 
Welcome to the board. I live in San Clemente and will be getting out to Catalina as soon as the weather warms up and/or you tell me that the white sea bass are showing.:)
