I started checking out this site yesterday and was wondering if it comes with guidelines on how not to become addicted? The more I poke around the more I find I want to read until I've been sitting at my desk for 2 hours and haven't done a stitch of real work... This may become problemmatic once my levels of procrastination deteriorate below the currently accepted norm and the boss realizes I'm a lazy sod with a diving problem.

Alternatively can anyone supply me with a top 10 list of believeable excuses for why I've not been working? :)

hahaha :) so what you're saying is that there's very little hope?

I've been around spearos and freedivers for a while now but it's only once you take the plunge (pardon the pun) and get involved yourself that you learn what a whole new exciting world there is out there free of scuba.

There's just so much to learn.... It gets confusing sometimes trying to figure out where to start. Every new thought is like mini explosions of information with 100 different ways you could go. Pretty cool for a geek like me who loves digesting new info :)

Try digging 20 small holes in the garden.
Place sharp object in one of them.
Place blindfold over eyes.
Proceed to stick hand in random holes.
Over your fear yet?

Alternatively attend dive club Thursday nights

You're not well... and I'm not going to ask how attending dive club on Thursday nights will get me over fears of dark holes...
Thanks for that, you made my day!

exscuse no.1 i kicked next door neighbors cat with a cricket bat cos it crapped in my garden...again,so they they put scews under all four of my tyres & puntured them, when they took my motor to the garage i left my wallet on the bedroom floor at that hot birds place you know the one with legs upto her ears, and she lives with a bad tempered jack russell that can jump as high as my b*llox, so i can't make it in today, if that doesn't work be more convincing, exscuse no.2 will follow must remove jack russell first welcome to db
