Hey all!
So I'm very new to this whole scene, but I definitely like what I see. I've been a swimmer much of my life, but for some reason never ventured far below the surface. Coincidentally, I also love fishing and the outdoors, and live on Vancouver Island, so I guess I'm set up for it. If anyone in the Victoria area wants to put up with a broke newb trying to learn to freedive, let me know!:t

Hope you enjoy your time here. I grew up in Washington and spent a summer in Victoria when I was a kid. Nice island! Hope you are having a good Spring/Summer.

Hey Wally,

I am in Victoria this evening, but heading up north island tomorrow morning. There are a handful of divers around Victoria, but I have not heard from most of them in a little while. But if you stay in touch I can most likely hook up with you on the return trip or some time. Do you ever go over to Vancouver or up towards Nanaimo and Campbell River?

I have to train in Victoria, so I can't leave very often, but depending on what happens in the next couple of weeks I may be going up to Nanaimo on occasion. I hear there may be a get together of sorts late june on the island. I think I may look into that, though I'd only know at the last second if I would be free or not.
