Spago is a journalist and probably very busy right now but the earthquake's damage was mostly circumscribed to L'Aquila, about 80 kms from Rome so I have high hopes that he is OK and we will know from him soon. So far about 150 deaths, many in that college dorm that collapsed. For whats its worth, there were earthquakes in some other places of the earth more or less at the same time, so ... something moved deep in the entrails of the planet. Its scary.

it's been a hard day, i live far from where the earthquake hit, and don't know where spaghetti is from

i heard yesterday evening there has been something like 108 dead, hope they'll stop here (the 150 was a yesterday news, too, but then they came back to 108 or 109)

I'm okay folks. It's a tragedy but I'm okay: it happened very far from where I'm living now, and also my family in Tuscany, which is closer to the quake area, had no harm thanks to the shield of the Appenine mountains.
I didn't expect such a warm solidarity from my beloved Deeperblue friends. It's a wonderful thing. I'm sorry I've made you worry.
