hey all,

well i have been lurking around these boards for a couple months and havnt really posted or introduced myself, so i thought i should finally say hello... hello!

i live in the UK, (north devon coast) and do a fair bit of swimming (ok lounging about in the sea) and have a keen interest in marine zoology (and eating it).

i used to bow hunt (when i lived in the usa) quite a bit but as that is illeagal in the UK now i just target shoot. hay bales live in fear in my neck of the woods.

i have always wanted to spear fish but never got around to it, and recently my wife purchased me my first spear gun, as she is a fan of the local sea bass.

i have only been out with it a couple of times as the weather is turning cold and i dont have any available dive buddies. so far only a decent sized balan wrasse has fallen to my prodigeous hunting skills. i think it must of been deaf and/or sleeping with the amount of huffing and thrashing i manage to put out... and yep i ate it. i am very much you use what you kill kind of guy. it was very nice by the way, i know veiws on wrasse can be negative, but i liked it.

in any case i have rambled long enough, hello all im glad to be here!
