I'm thinking of converting my omer cayman hf2 to take 2 bands but i cant find a suitable twin-band muzzle of 25mm diameter. Has anyone done this before? Any suggestions?
Thanks :)

Hi Jonny,

I don't own an HF2, however I do own several other Omer guns. From looking at an online photo of the HF2 it appears that its muzzle is similar to the ones on my T20.s, which already have 2 holes for 18-20mm bands. Now, if I understand correctly from your post, you want to put 2 x 25mm bands on your gun. If so I'm afraid you might be over-powering it, which could affect its accuracy. Over-powering your gun could also cause an "accidental discharge"--a very dangerous situation, and a mistake I myself have made in the past... :(

Just my 2 cents.

thanks for the answer which i appreciate :) .
no i dont want to have 2 x 25mm bands - that would be a bit naughty lol! you are right that its unclear, sorry. the muzzle of the gun is 25mm diameter and i wanted to fit 2 bands rather than the single band setup. There is a 28mm double band muzzle available from Omer, but not a 25mm diameter option. In the end i have squeezed the bands both through the single hole and it seems ok!
cheers!

Great idea! Why haven't I thought of that? :t I shoot my T20.s with 2 x 16mm bands and they keep flopping around, making it a pain to adjust when loading. Now I'm gonna do the same thing you do.

This forum is great. I'm learning news things every time I visit it, whether I post or not.

Have a great upcoming weekend.
