Hi All,
as said I'm new to this forum, I'll be searching for spearfishing Regulations for Cuba, have seen tons of fish taken by cubans, but not sure about Local regulations. I heard you can get in DEEP trouble if caught with a speargun at customs, and hard other conflicting opinions, so who can CONFIRM??

Why not contact the Cuban tourist information that way someone can lookup and send you the real regulations? Of course first hand knowledge would be great. Enjoy the trip.

If you do a search on Cuba here on DB you'll find that there is some info on what you are looking for. Also send a private message to Johnny who recently told me a friend of his has just returned from a spearing trip to Cuba.

Good Luck,
Adrian

Here's what I 've got from Cuan tourist office located in Montreal, I will definitely go higher, I mean I will contact Cuban authorities to get answers. Here's the reply:
Hi,
It is illegal to spearfish in Cuba.
Thank you,
