Hi all

Novice Cornish spearfisherman here! I've been reading forums for a week or so now, so I thought I would register so I could maybe join in discussions with others and learn more about my new obsession (spearfishing that is).

I started nearly a year ago with little success. On fathers day this year I speared my first 2lb bass and have been to several locations around the south coast and have speared several bass since. I have also speared pollack, mullet and dogfish. The freezer is starting to fill up!

Hi Steve my mum was evacuated from Guernsey to St Austell during the last war always fancied visiting the place one day.
