Hi all, Id like to introduce myself..Im Alan Ive recently moved to weymouth, from the midlands (nr northampton) Im not totally familiar with the area yet im kind of just finding my feet...Id like to get into a local spearo club of some kind to get to know some folks and some half decent fishing areas and i guess learn the sport...Ive had a few spearfishing experiences but im yet to bag some dinner,
Can anyone suggest anywhere?

Hi Alan - welcome!

I would suggest somewhere a long way from here where the water is clear! Rubbish weather at the moment that is messing up the vis. If you find a gap in the wind go down to Newtons Cove for an explore. Varied ground, quiet etc and chance of bass, flatties, mullet etc. There are loads of other places to try and everyone will have an opinion on them but generally you will find fish all around your area.

See you in the water

Ben
