Hi everybody from Greater Vancouver, BC, Canada

hey Salehthefish, thanks! and yes, will do as soon as I'll go fishing. right now I'm in a process of reading the regulations and finding out what else I need to start my new hobby. I have a wetsuit that is 3mm, but after reading on the Net, i think i need 7mm for local waters... I have two spearguns JBL Woody Magnum and Sniper 90 (one is longer the second one is shorter), have the fins, so I need to find a mask and I'm all set :-) Also, who's using what to take underwater pictures? I guess the lighting isn't great down there... I tried one of the Fujifilms digital cameras in Cancun, Mexico while on vacation, but wasn't too happy with the quality, so thinking of getting the underwater housing for my Canon 20D.

Hey well as start try to postpone things like housing and stuff for later just take photos after the hunt... Now with the company of a buddy(Never dive without one) try to figure out how things go safely and one by one you will start to upgrade everything...

All best again...

@Salehthefish- yes, I do have a friend who wants to dive as well, so I'm covered here :-) the pictures underwater more of as if I miss with the spear, then at least I have the picture of that fish :-) or if there is a kind that I can't shoot at with the sreargun, at least I'll shoot it with the camera :-) Just realize it sounds like I'm more of photographer than spear-fisherman :-) Need to go out there and fix it! For sure I'll do upgrades not at once, but slowly.
@JennyWren- thank you for the link, I'm reading the website right now :-)
Thank you guys for the feedback.
