Welcome. What a great location to be a spearo. I holiday near Lagos every spring, I travel from Scotland, so don't take a gun, but I love to swim in the shallows early morning, and see the mullet and sea bass. I'd be interested to hear about productive spots along the coast (shallow inshore only - I'm 60 years old now...)

You have praia da luz to the right side , and untill towards burgau , its shallow say 3-5 meters easy and the water is most of the year with good visibility , further to that sagres , and great spots like ponta ruiva, carrapateira and arrifana With the right conditions they are great spots

Hello Bruno, I am also new to the forum and much younger than you. I'm still a beginner when it comes to spearfishing, but I'm planning to fly to the south of Portugal in mid-October to finally fulfill my dream. Is there any chance that we can meet up and go spearfishing together and you can give me a few tips and tricks? afterwards we can also sit down together for a few beer or two.
best regards flo
