Hi Everyone,

I'm new to free diving and I'm looking into how to properly free dive. I SCUBA dive a lot and have started earning my technical certifications. I am also a Boy Scout Aquatics Director and I teach lifesaving, life guard and snorkeling classes every year.
Around me there aren't many places to dive. Mostly a few quarries and a river or two. If I can see beyond 10 feet it's a good dive.
I've read some of the posts about starting to free dive. I don't have the money for a course right now. Are there any tips/advice about how to start out? (in a safe manner)
