I want to take the opportunity to tell everyone "Hi". I just got certified a few months ago and have had very little experience. I just got back from a dive trip to the Keys and it was fabulous. I joined the group so that I might ask advice and tap into everyone's experience on diving. I am also wanting to try some spear fishing. I have rod and reel fished all my life, but thought this would be fun to try.

Hey! Im also new here and just bought my equipment to start with. Tell me what u guys think.... and although i havent been spearing i can tell you a rob is totally different. I´d really love to try, it must be like a real hunt on the other side you have a rod in your hand and just wait for a fish to pick up your bait. Now thats different :D.
Anyway check out my thread,
Bela
