Hi Everyone

It's the first time I'm posting to this forum, I'm a keen spearfisherman from the West Coast of South Africa and I've been hooked on the sport since the age of 14 (32 yrs ago). My passion for diving is also my work - manufacturing freediving fins. Look forward to speaking to you in the future.

Regards

Pierre

Welcome to deeperble Spierre :friday

Got a few Cape town boys here I guess you will know some of them at least. You make fins? Cool! Is that en mass or of a more bespoke nature?

Hi Pastor, thanks. Building blades started out as a hobby a few years ago and has grown into a full-time business, we are now starting to export blades to Australia, New Zealand and have sold to some divers in various countries, I also have some top SA divers using my fins. I decided early on not to go the mass production route. I still build each pair of pure carbons and fibre composite blades by hand and customise them according to the diver's weight, diving style etc.
