Been lurking for a while and have finally decided to post an introduction.

I am an avid fisherman and spearfisher in this lovely Caribbean island, I go out about every chance i get on the weekends to enjoy the sea and what I can catch.

Hope to become a regular poster here.

Alan

Hello and welcome to db.
We love pictures of Caribbean islands and caribbean fish if you have any.

Thanks for the welcome, I will try to post pics but most times i never remember to take the camrea with me when am going fishing/diving.

Welcome Alan and i hope you enjoy Deeper Blue.
I had a fantastic holiday in Grenada this year and really enjoyed your sea with the array of different fish, I saw a couple of spearo’s while i was there and they seemed to be doing alright with a few fish on the stringer.:)
Shame its only locals that are allowed to spear as i would of loved to of had a go.
Post a few pictures of the parts of the Island that you fish and make us of envious.

Glad you enjoyed your stay, it is true that Spearfishing is only allowed for locals but it is not enforced and never patroled so if you had met up with some local guys am certain they would not have minded taking you to spear.

I will try to take some pics this weekend as am taking out the family on the boat.
