hi.i have just joined this site, and have just been spearing this morning.didnt see anythig worth shooting though.any tips on where to go?

welcome to the site! like omd says check out the Guernsey thread as theres lots of tips there. Have you done much spearing?

Welcome Luke. At this rate spear fishing could become Guernsey's "national" sport ;)

Welcome. Were you with a mate in a Gsy Air con van? SW parked under a "tower" to not give away your location?!

If so, it's a good mark normally, water looked clear.

Welcome to DB mate. You are so lucky to live in Guernsey! Plenty of good people on here from Guernsey who i'm sure will give you lots of good advice! Don't worry about not seeing any fish yet, I had the same problem in July 2007..roflrofl

thanks for the thread guys, will have a read.i have been going out for about a year now and quite often see the odd lone bass or mullet, but dont have much luck in shooting the buggers, they dart away pretty quick.i am going about once a week at the mo.will get one soon.:friday
