Hi all,

Another newbie to spearfishing and the forum! I'm based just outside Truro in Cornwall.

Just getting into spearfishing and am loving every minute. I love cooking and eating fresh food, and being in the sea so i'm sure this is the sport for me!

Not had that much luck so far though, had a few pollack for dinner, but bass remain elusive. However i've learnt quite a bit from the forum, so hopefully it won't be long now!

I'm still trying out new places to fish, been going for a rather trial and error approach so far, so any more advice would be appreciated!

if you want to cross over to the other side and get in to freediving rather than spearfishing, I live pretty close to you - work in Falmouth, live on the Lizard and very much need a pool training buddy!

Wow, thanks for the offer! Unfortunately i'm off to uni at the end of the summer (if you can call it that!) so I won't be around for much longer. I'll give you a shout when i'm back for a reasonable amount of time though!
