Hi nice to meet you all. My name is Meir ,Im doing spearishing for 21 years.

Whats the best Dyneema 1.3 - 1.5 mm(except R.A), that you have tried , for whishbone ?
(Its for small shark fins) Thanks !

Hi Meir, do you mean the best manufacturer or the best size?
I don't know the make of the dyneema I use, I just buy the one sold in our locale marine chandlers, it is on a big roll and sold by the metre.
I use 2mm for shark fin spears, it last well and gives a nice big knot to push in the band.

I use Marlow Dyneema as its the one available in the local chandlery and buy it by the meter. The manufacturer isn't really that important, the breaking strain for small diameter dyneema is 300Kg plus believe it or not, so small differences in manufacturing tolerances are pretty much insignificant for the purposes of spearfishing............... in my opinion :D

Thanks Foxfish-I meant "best manufacturer for that size 1.3-1.5 mm '.
Thanks for your opinion -Pinniped72 .

If you are concerned about the manufacturer, then I can vouch for Marlow ropes. However any decent rope manufacturer will publish detailed information about their ropes, including breaking strain, relative gravity, stretch and resistance to chemicals and U.V. If you go to a manufacturer that provides this information, I would say that you wont go far wrong. (y)
