Welcome to DB, Wannabee, you will enjoy this site.

Its great to see divers showing up who are even more "mature" than me.

Thanx guys. appreciated.
I don't know how this is but I held my breath for 5 min today. It felt like 15 minutes. One guy counted the time and the rest of us were doing rest, then "breath-up" then "apnea" for increasing periods of time. Face down in shallow water, inland. My previous effort about 6 months ago was 4 minutes. We then dived to 20 meters which made me feel quite tight around my chest. The water was dirty and dark and cold on the bottom and very alone.
Planning on improving these with the help of this forum.
Wannabee hot like you guys.

Welcome from Texas! Keep up the good work. I'm glad to see you're diving with buddy protection!
