hi there
i'm from romania...my english is not so verry good [specially on spelling] so I want to appologize for that...
my question is:
i have a pair of genesis fins by seac sub [see the image bellow]
genesiscopy.gif

i wonder if i'll do a good bussines if I buy for myself a pair of GARA3000 form cressi???

Are You not happy with the genesis? Why do You want another pair of fins?
('Just because' would be good reason, but that would make it hard to answer Your question, I think. :D )
I own a pair of gara 3000 and I like them. But it seems it's all a matter of taste.

well
i am happy with genesis, but they are 86 cm lenght...in stead of gara wich is 91 i think...
the lenght does not to be the first issue here
but i have this fins from about 6 years or 7....i wonder if the cressi have made somme improvment at the material from wich the blades are made....since then...

No one will be able to tell you that any fin is better then yours.

Try and find someone else who is freediving in in your area and ask to try their fins, thats the only way to know the differences... you could of course just buy new fins :D but thats too expensive in case you discover you dont like them.

10x a lot...
perhaps someone who did dive with similar blades can tell if "un upgrade" is necessary...

Well, the question is do YOU think an upgrade is necessary ?
Are you unhappy with your fins ?
And if you are, what about them makes you unhappy ? by knowing that, people can recommend different fins..

A smart guy once told me,
"If its working - dont f**k with it".

See if you can get someone to lend you their fins for a try out.

;)

i think you don´t buy a new pair of fins .. when you think that 4cm of fin length is important....
see the gara 2000 ,they were good in his material....
the material from the 3000 LD are a little bit worse because i heared from other freedivers that they break after using a lot(under the feet-thing,the two connections)

i found the gara 3000 more to soft for me...
what i noticed was that my genessis are a little bit biger in wide and is more stiff than gara3000; even they are heavier i guess i keep them:):):)
10x for answering:)

10x diva
i missed you all
my projects are going fine, 10x 4 asking...
i've just came back from my 7 days hollyday and i must tell u that i didn't like it at all:(
antalya is for turists not for freedivers:p
after the red sea i must say that turkie is not so very well
but from now on i know where to not go to:)
in alanya i had to swim arround 2 km to reach a 10 meters water depth...the only good thing it was that i saw a sting ray and i dived along with her....to much sand, to less life:(

and a little movie with me going down at 11m
i love my fins:d

tell me from your experience
it is better 2 go down with monofin or with bifins?

i prefer going down... oh hang on...

I prefer diving with a monofin, i can equalise better and get down faster.. and come up faster!
