hi im new to spearfishing am looking into equipment and cant wait for first trip i have a problem finding a reel that will fit my aquacraft sling loaded speargun. it would help if the gun had a model type on it but it only says aquacraft on the side.Somebody help?!

Get a universal reel (with fittings that will fit on any pipe gun) and fix it on your gun barrel with plastic bands and duct tape. This one (Imersion reel) should do the trick, it's inexpensive and is easy available in the US: IMERSION - Underwaters sports - SPEARFISHING SPIRIT

By the way, Aquacraft gun sounds quite an antique piece of history. Is it this one that you have? (see pic below)

Welcome from Texas! Old doesn't mean usless or obsolete. I still use my Healthways guns from the 70's with new bands and tips to take a lot of fish. And I guess I'm now old at 51 and still take a lot of fish.

+1 for old guns. The one in my avatar is 30 years old and still rocks. They don't make them like that anymore.
And don't get me started with the newer so called "hi-tech" guns that fell apart after a few dives........
