Holiday Guernsey 2008

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 90 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.

No problem if the majority can only make a weekend in the middle two weeks of August. I can't due to the family holiday between 9th and 24th Aug. Any weekend outside these works for me - there is no way you will be able to cater for everyone.

All right then, it appears there will have to be some compromises on tides & people available.
I am going to suggest the main dates for the fishin will revolve around the weekend 16 -17 august. The tides are quite small on those dates but by the 19 & 20 they are quite nice! So lets see who favours those dates & tides.
For the people who want to come but cant make it on those dates I might offer a more low key opportunity once I get more info on tides etc.

I’ll be over with Jim (Stuckinsurrey) on the Thursday and will probably leave for home on the following Monday, or maybe a little longer say home on the Wednesday depending on what Jim can do.
Either way put the 2 of us down for all things wet and fishy.

Yes i'll prob do thurs morn through to tues/wed, same Hotel as they didn't kick us out I guess, still got my doorkey; the Polish waitress always gave me an extra sausage ;-).
