i have to say that's a very friendly shark. judging from posture alone.. the shark was very relaxed and seemed to be enjoying the interaction. i like how he pets the shark but he has his speargun in one hand poised to nail it if it gets "unfriendly".. i wouldn't advocate someone swimming with great whites (especially a bull male like this one).. but it looks well fed and not in an aggressive posturing sorta mode.

it's still the most "balls out" thing i've ever seen. i've been in the water with sharks before (in a cage.. NOT openly swimming with them) we would chum the water and watch them feed when i used to work as a naturalist. i wouldn't hop out of the cage and start hitching a ride on it's caudal fin tho
