Ive just finished my second gun, a rear handled Teak 87cm Roller firing a 130cm 6mm shaft .
Im a bit concerned about the space that the shaft has to exit the under the wishbone , I put some little wood risers in to hold the wishbone off the shaft but Im thinking its all a bit tight and the crimp and mono loop may snag up on firing . Does anyone have any thoughts on this .
Also im thinking about my angle of pull on the bands and worried the bands may lift the shaft up a little off the track with it being a notched spear the pull angle is very 'flat' .

you could using a spear like the sporasub america one, that has a loading fin further forward, attach the line there and it will be well clear of the muzzle by the time the wishbone gets there. I have it set up like this on my roller and haven't had any issues.

Thanks for the suggestion , that is a good option if it becomes a problem. I guess I would sacrifice a little range with a shorter shooting line but its definitely an option.

drill for 3mm rod and fix it higher than the track and shaft
