1.5 mm green camo wetsuit with hood

Hi eveybody

I'm looking for a 1.5 mm green camo wetsuit with hood and low waist pants for summer diving here in Abu Dhabi. It can be open cell or lined suit but the beaver tail closing should be the clip on type. Like the Omer Green Mimetic but in a 1.5 mm thickness or an Omer Dahlak with a hood or a Beuchat 1.5 mm reversible but in camo. I was wandering if you guys knows where i can get them? Custom made minimum is only 2 mm. Summer water temp here is from 30 deg celsius and higher.

Thanks in advance:friday

I found Hawaii Skin Diver is making hoods but it comes in brown and blue camo pattern only, no green camo to match the omer dhalak.

Maybe just a swim cap? Doubt you'll find a hood or cap that'll match that suit, Unless you lop it off an Omer Camo suit - but at those temps a swim cap'll do you just fine.
In the Bahamas most of the guys in the advanced class were using Orca speedsuits and swim caps. The orcas are pricy but there are other brands of Triatholon type suits that are cheeper. Very nice in warm water - and very hydrodynamic - very sturdy though they are smooth neoprene on the outside. I've used the Dhalak - it's nice for warm water, and very durable. Not as good a seal or as hydrodynamic as the Tri suits - but a little sturder. Water temp there was only 24c and those guys were all good to go for hours. Anyway - I'd go swim cap with one or the other of those one-piece type suits for 30c.

That is very interesting Fonduset. I'll look that up in the local Speedo shop here. That will also be good to organize my long hair which is getting in the way. I was also checking those surfer hoods which looks interesting with the visors but i think the visor will be a major drag underwaterrofl.

Thanks for the reply. Hows the Lunocet? Have you achieve a major breach?

Stephan tells me the review will be published shortly :) Until then I'm keeping a cork in it.

Will Trubridge dives in an orca speedsuit and swim cap - and he is the essence of hydrodynamic!

That will be very ineteresting to read for i'm planning to get a monofin before summer starts. I hope there are comparisons between the monofin and the lunocet.

Thanks
