Went to a dive shop a week ago to look into scuba lessons and get snorkel gear (stuff form when I was a kid doesn't really fit anymore). After having gone out snorkeling a few times, I'm more interested in free diving and spearfishing than taking the open water scuba class.
This forum seems to be a great place to learn...been trying to figure out gear for spearfishing in WI and proper free diving technique. Look forward to the adventure of free diving! :wave

Hello Marc and welcome on DB... Please keep safety first and do not dive without buddy...

All best

Thanks for the good advice Salehthefish...luckily I have a good girlfriend who was willing to go out with me today; also taking it pretty easy until I learn proper skills.
