How can i add more power to my gun

How can i add more power to my gun without doing a complete overhaul to it i thought about adding another band but then i may lose accuracy :head anyone have any idea that can add more power with out alot of work. what i have is a spetton AMI 2 its got alot of power but as me and my brother have seen with his Hammer head and my spetton gun some of the fish the spear just bounces off
 
You could reduce the thickness of the shaft
You could add an extra band
You could fit a thicker band
You could add more mass to the gun itself
 
i was thinking of that putting a bigger band on it try something for sure
 
You could make sure your spear is properly sharpened
 
i had someone eles tell me that too i think i may try that first and then go from there thanks for the tips everyone
 
Well thanks to dotey and his powerful blowing ablility - he blew a bunch of sand out of my HH- doesn't really have anything to do with this thread- but I just wanted to posted that somewhere The HammerHead is in good working order now.
 
Your funny i learned it from your mom rofl just joking you just remember when you put that spear through a fish that your little bro fixed your gun for you
