How can I secure my leg stapped knife?

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.

i've seen guys who wear knives on their arms have a bit of chord attached to stop them from dropping or losing. is there a way i can do the same with my leg knife without haviing a bunch of chord get in my way?
 
The only thing I can think of is to use a shock cord.
Seen scuba divers use this for leg knives.
 
thanks mate, i think i might just have to buy a knife you strap to your arm. may just have to wait till i lose the one i've got first...
