Hola Everyone:

I was drawn into the sport by a constant search of the relationship of the mind and body. And I have been getting way more than what I bargained for. So far I have started to uderstand my body better. Know my limits and how to move them, enjoy more the ocean (i had allways surfed, kitesurfed, etc but never establishe a relationship with the world underwater, now i freedive and spearfish and it ahs been very rewarding). I have made new friends, found more like minded peopple and in general opene a door in my world to become a better body, mind and give a better use of my time in this world.

Of course I didn’t need to explain all this to the members of DB cause in a way you all know this, but I like putting it on words. I took a Freediving course with freedivers.net and other than being an eye opening experience, it made clear the importance of safety and training and technique. then for a while i didnt do much about it.

Then I started spearfiching to try to spend more time in the water and it worked. I made a concious decission on focus on technique and relaxation so it worked to build some habits and practice… however, there is no replacement for depth and proper practice.

I live in La Paz, Baja, Mexico. And I find it a very good place to be as far as wildlife, activities and weather. I love going to the ocean and absolutely hate going to the chlorine pool (had to say it). Well that is a bit of me as an introduction. hope to keep on reading, learning, posting and evolving on the DB world.
