got this new open muzzle for my Rabitech, tried to install it on my 120 apex but the muzzle tube (the area that fits into the barrel) is 1mm thicker than it should be so its not fitting in...(strange as they are both rabitech), any advice on how to make it thinner (basically chip 1mm off the muzzle tube)?

congrads
now you got a very nice kicker
so
you should try to give it to someone who use a lathe
tell him to take 1 mm off it:friday

Thanks for the advice guys, being the great handyman that i am i already broke it (it was free so im not that upset)so now i have to get a new one
cheers for the help though

ok welded it again with an epoxy resin hardner...sand papered it and installed again... it looks tough, the area that broke wont be subjected to much stress, it would mainly ensure that the rubber doesnt fall of the open muzzle... anyone use these epoxy adhesives before? do you think they work? the package says it could be subjeted to impact loads and is waterproof, which sounds good, but i dont know...

when i epoxy the old wood spearguns i have and add some new stuff to them with west systems marine epoxy they stay together real well. i have used other hardware store 2 part epoxy tubes and they came apart under sea water. even the blue colored one that was for marine use they said. i think if you mix it well it will be fine, i was probably a bit careless with the regular epoxy. west systems stuff is great though, a little goes a long ways.
