Hi guys mamza here...
i shoot dogtooth tuna usually in the 10-20kg range. in my experience i stoned a doggie only 2 times. I shot the head about 1 inch behind the eye... doggies are extremely powerfulfish and fast swimmers also and they go down deep very fast with you and all your gears. I always wish to stone them but sometimes it is difficult to shoot it while it is swimming and when im over- excited or scared if it is too big! in your experience with other kinds of tuna, the dogtooth included where or at what part of the body did you aim to stone them?? :duh
