, There was no answer in this thread for more than 90 days.

We need a lot more data. In some places its over 100 feet deep just 100 feet from shore. In other places its 20 feet deep 5 miles off shore.
Are you to new to spearfishing but an accomplished free diver who is accustomed to diving 30 meters? Or not.
Is it like South Point at the Big Island of Hawaii where there can be ripping current and no land within a thousand miles down-current, with lots of tiger sharks to keep you company?
But just so that this reply isn't a total waste- don't go so far out that it isn't easy to swim back, and dive with a buddy who is at least as good as you are.
