Per advice here on Deeper Blue (thanks Mullins and others) I'm doing sets of 75 meter dynamics. I'm trying to work my way up to ten sets. That would have me doing 750 meters on training nights. This training is primarily designed to increase my freediving capabilities for spearfishing.

My buddies tell me that my lips are blue upon surfacing. I'm spasming a bit and burning as I approach the wall. So far though there's no other indication that I'm close to a black-out. Are blue lips in the pool much to be concerned about. I'm starting to turn toward the next 25 meters occasionally. I'd like to do a set of 100 meters now and then to spice things up.

I feel that we are waiting too long between sets. How long is a safe interval between sets? Will it train me even more to minimize the time between sets?

Thanks
