hey guys using a 11ltr rescue float with a 30 x 35 cm dive flag on the tail was wondering if anyone could recommend what amount of lead i should use to keep my set up stable .. at the moment i use 200g which i think is heavy but keeps everything stable when paddling out through the shore break but does seem alittle heavy to tow at times :)

Hey
Have no experience with ballasting floats myself , i can only imagine that you need to find a happy medium.
Try less weight , say 100 instead of 200.
See how the float performs and adjust accordingly.
:)
