Hey everyone! this is my first post.

I started spearfishing a few months ago and im looking to improve my bottom time. About 2 weeks ago I started doing static holds. I got up to 4 minutes using an o2 table and havent done statics since. Though I have started doing some walking apnea. I have done a bit over 2 minutes and could probably do more using a warmup. However I read a thread here a while back regarding training without warmups. It sounded like a good idea. I can do about 1:20+ on my first hold if i really try. Basically how should I train inorder to increase my bottom time? Unfortunately a pool is pretty much out of the question so walking apnea it is. Thanks!

Hey. You should really try Trux's apnea trainer. It's helped me alot. Do a member search for him.

thanks, i have the a table program and have used it in the past. i guess im asking if it is worth sticking to a routine without warmups and if so how should I proceed? thanks!
