Hi all,

I am quite disappointed. On the waterway website there are no prices. I wrote them 10 days ago, Bogdan replied immediately with a recommendation to some guy (distributor?) in Italy to assist me, but after that no more news in spite of another email I sent.
What's the trick to know the prices and eventually make an order?
thanks

Patience. I've written to many monofin manufacters and most seem to be taking more than 2 weeks to reply. Maybe they are busy for a competetion or something. Don't worry, he'll will get back to you soon enough.

I have bought several fins from Bogdan/waterway, he used to be pretty good and respond to emails quickly. The fin's I got within 5 weeks of an order. I emailed not long ago asking about prices and got no response. Seems he is more interested in bulk orders these days so if ordering less then seven fins he probably doesn't give a cr#p.

He repled to me very quickly and sent me a price list.

Maybe just e-mail again specifically asking for a price list.

He wouldn't sell me footpockets by themselves for a Glide. Anyone broke a fin that wants to sell their pockets?

When I contacted Bogdan directly he sent me a price list and an order form. I ended up going through PFI. I just got my Glide 2 days ago and now I have to find a place to use it!!! I was going to go north this weekend, but weather has detoured me. Maybe a pool or next weekend

I am glad you were all lucky with your orders, but in my case I have sent three emails in twenty days and still not anything that comes close to my request, which is simply to learn the price and how to order.
Pity, but I might have to turn somewhere else for my next mono.

Did you contact the guy in Italy? Or is he the one not responding?

Could be, that Bogdan was/is in Spain and Italy for several finswimming competition. I don't know. But it could be.
I just can recommend to be a little patient, because in my opinion the WW fins are really great. I tried several fins ;-)
regards
Martin

I bought two Waterway wing nemo monofins thru PFI online store and it was very very easy.
Performance Freediving
I e-mailed Mandy and she e-mailed back and I sent paypal $ to PFI then waited about 6 weeks and got my two fins. They charged also only for 1 shipping bill of $65 for both fins so saved money there. You can decide if its better to go direct to Waterway or through PFI. I think if you go thru PFI there will be less chance of error on order, wrong size or stiffness or whatever and also, if you have some problem with the fin, you have paid PFI so they will try and fix it for you and will know what to do. There is nothing wrong to go direct to Waterway though its not like ordering a book from amazon.com, a bit more complicated.

Cheers Wes

I started this thread so I feel it's fair that I post the conclusion.
After several weeks of lack of communication, possibly due to Bogdan's
travelling but also to the lack of any reply from a distributor, the matter finally
took off. After ordering the mono (directly from Bogdan), it took less than 3 weeks till I got the invoice and after that about one week for delivery from Ucraine.
So overall I would say it was a satisfactory process, apart from the initial problems. Now I have to try it....

That's great to hear. I know there has been some finswimming competitions going on, so that must have been why you couldn't contact him.

Post pictures and a report when you get your fin!

One tip for your upcomming WW Glide fin.

Customisation of your future fin is for free, since all Glide fins are handmade.

So you can have a 30 degree footpocked angle and solid rubber wings, a great optimaliation for CW.

Good luck with your order and new fin!

Love, Courage and Water,

Kars
