going out hunting with a 3 prong and not a gun how to you attach yourself to the float/flag i mean do you attach float line you the 3 prong or to your self???

IF YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT YOUR DIVE FLAG/FLOAT...JUST CLIP IT TO A "D" RING ATTACHED TO THE BACK OF YOUR WEIGHT BELT.

You can pick up an adequate "D" ring at most hardware stores.

If a boat hits your float line and the float is attached to your wrist or something you could get injured easily if the prop catches the line... :naughty I dont like ANYTHING attached to me that I can't quickly and easily "release" one handed - or it has to "break away" easily. Here in Wisconsin almost everywhere I dive is loaded with boats & jet ski's during the summer months.

I also sometimes use a velcro type wrist strap with a velcro loop to attach my dive flag to my wrist...Its actually made by "ACE" of the ACE BANDAGE company...Walgreen's or a pharmacy should carry them. They are for tennis elbow or somthing like that...Works awsome and only like 6 dollars.

Safe diving:)

as said, don't ever tie anything to yourself. If you must, let it be with an easy to release clip. Stay away from steel wire. The best thing will be to fix your poll spear to your float, search for "floatlines" there are many.

If just swimming without a gun, I tow my float with one of these in hand:
Apnea Online Store

I can drop it and my float stays close, or clip it on if I want an easier swim.

yea thanks for the replies right now im using a 40 foot float line and i use the D ring hooked to my weight belt, works like a charm and with the quick release on my belt i dont lose it in the water cause i stays attached to my float...thanks for the help guys
